Ok I read some of this but not all so I may be repeating what someone already said. I like Miles because I care about the condition of my Alma mater and he takes good care of it. We have not had to return any national championships, SEC championships (which is really the NC), or vacate any wins in the last 10 years. I have never heard about him cheating on his wife with the governor's wife which tells me he has respect for commitment. I have an authentic helmet he signed for me in my office which I display proudly, and I can say I have been watching Tiger football since 1971 as far as I can remember (my dad tells me before) and I have never been so proud of my Tigers. I like him associated with our University and hope he celebrates many more birthdays here. As far as X and O coaching Saban is obsessed, so he is a little better at getting his teams ready. He drives his guys to the brink and yes they win many championships, might even get another this year, but I still like our guy. As someone said he just looks like someone you can trust to take care of your son. When you look at the Miles era everyone he lost to in his 10 years as far as Championships go came out of his own conference and he still competed to the bitter end. I wonder if Stoops or anyone other than Saban could compile that kind of record having to play an eventual National Champion every year. Remember BCS, 8 straight out of the SEC and there is a good chance we win the first "playoff" national championship too. Long Live Miles

There isn't a conference that is as good. But there are several coaches that would run circles around him. Don't let superior talent fool you into thinking that the coaching great.
Name me 1 coach with the same talent of players in any conference that has underachieved more than Miles. You can't!!!
Look over to UGA, don't have to look too far. If you want I can give you a big list of names who have so much less. Richt has been at UGA longer, closer to the state of Fla, has recruited Fla longer than anyone, counting his days at Fla St. Since you opened this up to any conference, I need to get to my computer, my I-Phone might burn up. Lol
I know right? And after Santa Claus is nice enough to just drop talented prospects onto his practice field every Summer!
Name me a coach that has done Better than Miles during his tenure. Maybe the reason so many recruits like LSU is Les,we haven't been on probation we are always mentioned as a elite program. Hiring a new coach even if he is Better doesn't always equate to wins.
I speaking of total talent. Good analysis; how can you be considered great when you are always a qb away? Then when you get a Qb your defense goes to shit
