Every throw won't be perfect but if you've been playing receiver your whole life, if the ball hits your hand you catch it. No excuses. Dural has been awful tonight and pretty bad all year in general. Harris will get blamed for an overthrow on that series where Dural had the drop two plays later but the throw was beautiful. Dural stopped and had no idea where the ball was. If he keeps running he runs right underneath it.

Do they have a Juggs machine???

The scheme is shitty too, but Harris has to be better. His bad throws are really bad.

It doesn't help that every pass is a bomb. We have the best player in America. Why not run some screen passes to him? Get Harris into a little bit of a rhythm. Are we also not coaching reads for multiple routes? It seems every pass play has 1 target and 1 target only and the ball is going there no matter what. Vanilla as hell.

Les Miles made a pact to have a good passing offense at least once in his career with a voodoo priestess in New Orleans, and he was granted that in 2013, however he wasn't aware the it came with a curse for the rest of his life that will not allow even a decent passing game.

Miles is TERRIFIED to let Harris make a mistake because he thinks #6 will turn into Jarrett Lee, so he only lets him throw off of play action and it's always a bomb. Very rarely see them work on short or intermittent routes that will actually build confidence. Mistakes are part of learning. Until Miles understands that, the QB position at LSU will most likely continue to have stunted development.

Part of that is on Harris too, it's not like the deep route is the only route run on those play actions. There are other guys running routes. Harris is just continuing to look for the deep ball. It's not a crime to throw underneath. He threw a fade to the back corner of the end zone on a 3rd down and Fournette was wide ass open for a TD. Tonight in the passing game everyone gets an F except for maybe Colin Jeter.

I'm much more worried about the defense than I am about the passing game, which was pathetic tonight. But it hasn't been pathetic every game. Sometimes you just have a bad game; ask Cardelle Jones. The defense, on the other hand, has been questionable every game.

I don't care if you were a tackle eligible wr for one play, if you were involved in the passing game tonight you get an F, F- for the coaching staff.

I never see Harris make any more than 1 read. He rarely if ever slides or steps up in the pocket to allow a receiver extra time to get open. No rhythm. Few and far between any timing routes. He throws the ball 100 mph most of the time. No touch on the ball. Are they not coaching these things? What am I missing?

The pass to Dupre in the endzone looked like a laser beam. I thought he threw it way too hard.
