Why are LSU players having a problem every year knowing the playbook?

Apparently its Michael Ford this year.

Is Miles recruiting a bunch of dumb phucks, or is it the coaches not being able to teach the playbook?

I tend to believe it's the latter.

Did someone come out and say that Michael Ford isn't playing because he doesn't know the playbook, or are you assuming that?

Bhelm was saying it in another thread.

That's why Ford is down on the depth chart.

And i know Bhelm doesn't just throw out BS.

    The Infamous "Playbook"

How difficult can it be? I'm not seeing it design-wise that's for sure. That "knowing the playbook" excuse is a crock a sh-t in my book.

In the 2nd half, I saw the EXACT same sorry a$$ plays and the EXACT same team as last year. Very disheartening.

Well, I would say I like the changes Crowton made, unfortunately he is just not a very good OC.

    What I like:
    - No substitution play telegraphs
    - No to the side lines BS

    What I still don't like
    - Jefferson running the option, I am sorry it looks horrible
    - Jefferson unable to get rid of the ball
    - Jefferson looking at the ground when moving in the pocket
    - Still sending everyone deep with no dump off

The offense just looks like a bunch of individuals running around... there is no team... there is no chemistry... it doesn't even seem like they have anything at all going on.

He knows the playbook but having mental mistakes in regards to the play calls especially in the last week of practice.

Go check Ridley's statements from this week which confirm what I have heard.

Don't worry, he will get his touches and confident he will do well.
