I assume that means two SEC losses. Could be, I see it right now as the strongest. I do believe it wouldn't hurt if LSU and Bama would tag Florida this time. Inspite of Georgia's annual ambitions, the gators will be bruised and battered themselves. When Slive starts speaking about adding perhaps more elite teams, it makes me hopeful the big 10 behave themselves.
Concerned? A 1-AA school that has never played a down of college football, has no stadium, and is fielding its first team in 2010? I'm sure Bama is deeply concerned . . . :rolleye33:
I think that number is skewed by a single bad season, not two. No, 3-5 in conference is not worth $4mil, but 5-3 following a 3-5 year is easier to swallow.
You are right, and i am not advocating Miles being fired at this point, or even being on the hot hot seat. Im just saying that the seat has coals under it, and it could be lit depending on the outcome of this upcoming season.
Man we take metaphors too far some time. I'm guilty of it too but this one just struck me as funny. :hihi:
Coach Saban just got a pay raise topping 4.7 million, before insentives. About a half million more than last year. With CLM contract calling for atleast $1000.00 more than anyone else in the SEC, I assume he's about to enjoy a nice pay hike. See, in the SEC you can root for the other guy.
I chuckled at that, too. Is there lighter fluid on it yet? Or even worse, is it Match Light? I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. He doesn't receive a pay raise in perpetuity. That clause is only enacted in a year that he actually wins a national championship.
