he's hurtin'. No doubt. But he at least knew who he was today and where he was. Concussions are tricky and everyone reacts different. Some people are sensitive to bright lights with them for weeks. Some can prop back up and play in a few days. We won't know how Hatch reacts until that time goes by. My general point is that he is still in the team's plans. Lee is not as good as he played in the 2nd half last night. And not as bad as he played in the 1st half, but moreso in the middle.
I really hope Hatch gets well soon. He gave it all yesterday trying to get those yards running into harms way.
that was one sweet pass lafell caught across his body and all hands. that was a rope and a catch i didnt think he could ever make. i think the wide receivers have been so starved for catches they were doing everything imaginable if a ball got near them. byrd diving out of bounds in all directions sorta showed that. if it got near em they were going to do everything to catch it.
good, cause last night im not sure he knew either of those things. i agree. before it showed he was hurt from the hit, my reaction was he was playing without fear to get those yards. when it was obvious he was injured i got sick at my stomach for him. that was one nasty hit.
about 3 days after my 3rd concussion, I got lost on my way home from my grandmother's house. That's only a mile and a half drive.
Know the feeling. Fifty years after I got my concussion following a collision, I cannot recall a single thing that I did after receiving the hit. Without knowing all the medical details, I would venture that Hatch is not [1] scheduled to start against MSU, and [2] may not even play against MSU unless deemed necessary. Why take an unnecessary risk? :geaux:
Rather than direct this against any one poster, I'ld prefer to corner the perfectionists and Carnak-the-Manificents with their omnicient statements: When you locate the next QB - cfb or pro - with a pure 100% rating, please inform us immortals --- we want to know! It's okay to opionate a particular play based on execution or lack there-of. But for JC, lay off the crucifixion of teenage-hood --- unless you're one of them. Hopefully, with age comes experience and wisdom (though not necessarily in that order). Some of us remember the days of the 50s when the backfield outweighed the OL. Geez! That took guts just to show up for practice. Imagine playing in pads so thin you could caught cold during a game due to the lack of padding. Love my Tigers - leave 'em be. :geaux:
310 yards of offense, 188 through the air, 23 points (would have been 24 under normal circumstances), in one half versus the vaunted Auburn defense on the road. That's all I can offer you. Please seek help.
