I'm not sure if you think we will continue the two-QB system or not, or if you think Lee will be our primary QB, with Hatch just coming off the bench sometimes for some running plays, like we did with RP last season.

However, a lot of people in Tiger Nation are starting to say that Lee is the only QB we use from here on out, with Hatch a second-string back-up who comes off the bench for some running plays.

I won't be shocked if this happens, but--until it does--I prefer trying to keep people used to the idea of a two-QB system--because if Hatch does continue to play as our QB, I don't want people freaking out.

hatch may start next game. who knows. the coaches will nurture the young lee into the position and hand it to him when they feel hes ready. its a very volatile situation until then because there is no time frame.

hatch will still come in and offer a change of pace with the pistol formation every game--either way.

I expect Hatch to start next game still.

I just it will be like the old Marion Barber/Julius Jones thing, or the Spurs deal with Manu Ginoboli, when the chips are on the table, Lee will be in the game.

Going into the Bama game, he was #1 in the SEC in passing yards per game, #1 in the SEC in completion percentage and #2 in the SEC in QB rating, behind only Stafford.

I also read some rivals or scout article over the off-season that hyped him up like he was going to be pretty good this year in Petrino's new offense. I think he had this incredible spring game where he had 4 TDs and 400 yards or something like that.

But, yeah after I saw him vs. Bama (which was his first real test)... yeah, he choked.

    vs. Western Illinois
    25 for 41 (61%), 318 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT

    vs. La-Monroe
    22 for 34 (64.7%), 323 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INT

    vs. Alabama
    20 for 39 (51.3%), 190 yards, 1 TD, 3 INTs

which is the amazing part. when he was being asked to do it, he couldnt get the mindset to play like that. when he HAD to, he did. thats why i just say here saying "holychit!" most of the second half.

how is his concussion? the way he was looking last night i was thinking he might miss the msu game.
