with this kind of talent you are satisfied?
Miles' problem is he doesnt understand his limitation and hire towards what they are.

    Exactly.

Furthermore I don't think Les thinks he has any limitations.

And you have yet to offer any objective material to this thread.

Sorry about the loss, but it has been the most exciting game of the bowl season so far. Hill had 124 yards on 12 carries. As long as I have been following the Tigers, they have always fared well with big plays, whether it was someone having a break out game, special teams play, etc. However in spite of Hill, the team ended with only 99 yards rushing total. The Tigers as already stated earlier had a meager third-down conversion rate of 23%.

Clemson did what every defense tries to do which is force their opponents to play the weaker part of their game. Personally I am surprised that LSU did not develop a more balanced attack after the championship game last year.

The rushing stats are misleading. Quarterback sacks are counted as rushing attempts in college stats. Take out Mett's 41 yards lost on sacks and you will find the running backs carried the ball 19 times for 140 yards, better than 7 yards a carry.

25 rushes to 23 pass attempts. That's plenty balanced. But a lot of it is undirected balance, seemingly for its own sake, as we've seen plenty of times this season. It's as if we intentionally abandon something that's effective purely for the sake of "mixing it up".

Again, misleading stats. Sacks are considered rushing attempts. LSU handed the ball to its running backs 19 times, and dropped back to throw 31 times. A very strange mix, considering a. how much pressure they were getting on Mett, b. how well their secondary was playing our receivers, and c. how we were gashing them in the running game.

True, but given those two long runs the rushing stats are a bit misleading, too. We got stuffed twice on 3rd and 2, so it's not like we were picking up short/intermediate yardage when it mattered most. I don't blame the original game plan so much as the utter failure to adjust it accordingly when it became obvious to every football illiterate watching the game that it wasn't working.

7 yards a carry and our geniuses are throwing on 2nd and 3rd and 2 with less than 2 minutes left. That is Ole Miss clock it stupid, or even Jason Garrett freeze your own kicker stupid.
