Not sayin JM was the greatest QB in college but some of your reasons are out there. Being slow for a QB is the norm in college and pros. But I recall him having some speed and making some good runs while at LSU. The key for a QB running is knowing when to run and when to go down before getting hammered. I also did not see him having a ton of problems hitting players in stride but going against a fast or slow defense really has nothing to do with that either. No telling what he will do in the NFL because we have only seen him play in a few games and he looked good while he was on the field and that was with a pitiful Oakland Oline.
