Who are the biggest recruits that are still considering LSU? I haven't been paying attention to recruiting very much with all the bowl game excitement so I would appreciate it if someone would like to fill me in. Thanks!

Here's a list of the top 100 recruits in the nation (by Rivals.com) that have LSU in their list of potential schools.

    10. J. McKnight ATH LA
    11. N. Devine RB FL
    18. C. Jones DB LA
    23. T. Toliver WR TX
    38. D. Thompson WR FL
    75. D. Bryant WR TX
    85. B. Hicks LB FL
    98. W. Blackwell DT LA

The 3 players highligthed are the ones that I think LSU has greater than a 50-50 shot at landing.

Other top talent we are in the running for:
Christian Scott, Stefoin Francois, Ron Brooks, Damien Berry, Jason Peters, Cameron Heyward, and Brandon Paul. Thats all the major names I can think of, at least right now.

I expect McKnight, Jones, Toliver, and Francois to sign for sure. Im sure LSU will get a few more of these big time, 4 star recruits. We will end in the top 5 for sure. Possibly number two or three. Even if they dont have as much points, USC will once again have the best class. LSU is a major power right now in recruiting. By the end of signing day this may turn into the best recruiting class LSU has ever put together.

Accoriding to Rivals LSU is no longer even on his list. He appears to be a Gator lean as of now.

I think LSU has a better than a 50-50 chance at picking up Blackwell.

Maybe so, but it will be tough to beat the #1 class we had a few years back.

It will certainly be close. If not the best, this will be right up there. Great job by Miles.
