    My bad I thought we were on the Bama is the worst #1 ever thread which IMO. far outweighs who wins the iron bowl.

    Damn man, I did at least state my prediction is you would win 3-2! :thumb:

    Yes you caught me in my waffling or nuances. I've learned that method from Obama.

    I do think Bama wins, but I was also making an argument to counter my point. Wasn't trying to cover my bases, just thinking out loud I guess.

    I think Auburn has a chance but Bama's defense is really good and AU's offense isn't. Now if AU can move the chains and pound the ball and keep the Bama defense on the field, then they have a shot. I just don't think that happens.

    I agree with you, Alabama has a strong chance to win this game, but not enough that their fans should be feeling overconfident about it. I've been going to Iron Bowls since i was 7 years old ...... only missed a few in 40+ years.

    So there's one thing I can say with certaintly ..... the Iron Bowl is never about the size of the dog in the fight, it's usually about the size of the fight in the dog.

    In all seriousness cadillac, I'm thinking that it will be a more of a tough game than most feel, but in the end we should run the clock out.

    Should be a good game though.

    i'm hearing on the AU forum that the early Line has Bama as a 14 point home fave. That's a big number ..... probably open on Sunday at 12 or 12.5 in Vegas.

    either way, it is rare to see a twelve point cover in a series like the Iron Bowl. The point differential in this series is usually low ....

    I would think somewhere between 10-13 would be the opening line. If I was going to bet on the game and I'm not, I'd probably take Bama and lay the points.
