Stolen property and academic cheating are a far cry from being bitched out for money. If it were just the former issues and not the latter, my feeling on AU may be a little different. I don't think anyone is busting on Cam for getting a second chance as far as his improprieties at Florida, but I simply cannot dismiss the money issue. As for Mettenberger, I'm certainly not excusing what he did while at UGA. But that really has no bearing on his conduct if/when he commits to LSU. I also don't think LSU would pursue him if Miles thought Mettenberger's conduct would be too much of a risk. Miles has shown he's willing to give a guy a second chance, but he has also shown his patience only goes so far when it comes to player off the field conduct, even to the detriment of the team. And I'm confident Miles will/has made that perfectly clear to Mettenberger.
