The French probably won't even get out of group play. They game lately has been horrible. The French have an aging team with no really good talent coming up. Spain is probably the favorite. Can't wait for the USA v England game.
Leadership man, experience. Jurgen Klinsmen and Lothar Mattheus weren't exactly spring chickens when they lead Germany to the victory in 90. I just like France, so i am biased with my pick. Brazil will probably win, but i'm sticking with France.

I support the USA. Whether the Saints win the Superbowl of if it is the Colts, the winners will be a group of young American millionaires. It is football, an American sport. It is not called futbol. And I can guarantee you that the final score will not be 1-0 or 2-1. If the game goes into overtime they will continue to play football until there is a winner. Unlike soccer, they won't line up the players to try kicking field goals.
I always pull for the Tanganyika Tigers or the Zombies from Zanzibar in the world cup. I got to watch the last one between France and Italy and was thrilled with that head butt by Zidane of the French team. I was cooking for the NO Hornets at the time and I had most of the players on my cellphone speed dial...so I immediately called up my friend Jerome Moiso (who plays for the French Olympic team) and told him that I think that was the first time in nearly 200 years that anyone in a French uniform actually fought. He was only slightly amused.:hihi:. Insult upon injury...France lost.
