Why do you have Japan in there? Brazil and Spain are the favorites. England stands a good shot. But Japan?

Probably one of the usual suspects. Smart money is probably on Spain, Italy, and Brazil. Germany, France, England could all make runs at it. Argentina has struggled lately but you never know what they can do with the players they have.

I look for the US to advance to the round of sixteen and then look to play Germany in a rematch of the quarterfinal from 2002. I can't imagine we will win that game. The Germans are too technically sound and disciplined. If the US somehow gets past England and wins the group, their opponent should be weaker and there could be a chance to get to the quarters.

I don't know. Hell, they barely qualified. Something will have to change drastically for them to win. I probably should have put them in the category with Argentina although France's issues were primarily in qualifying while Argentina has looked like a bag of ass for a while and have a questionable coach in Diego Maradona.

32-year-old Henry is past his prime. This is the Cup for the new French megastar to shine... 26-year-old Franck Ribéry.
