I can see it now....during pregame warmups, when the announcer gives the starting lineups for each team______________

Starting at qb for the LSU Tigers---number, ah, number----well, undecided at this time.

Auburn wins the toss and defers.....
    Auburn kicks into the endzone.....
LSU first and ten at their twenty yard line.....

HERE COME THE TIGERS and there appears to be no qb.....wait, the tigers break the huddle and go to the "wild tiger" with Shepard at qb....they stay in this each down until they score or punt.....Auburn still wondering who will be the qb in the next series.

I'd like to know if there is still anyone besides his mother who thinks he even needs to be on the football field!

    He can't pass.
    He's not a great runner.
    He can't think
    He can't lead.

.... so .. just what the hell can he do? .... besides waste a set of downs.

He is still living the dream run he had against Tenn. - My friends and I nick named that run - "The Gallop & Go" cause Jefferson looked like a mule running down the field.

    I voted Jefferson.

Why?...because he has 20 starts and has demonstrated NO progress.

Does it make any sense?...NO, and that's why I picked Jefferson.

This offense hasn't made any sense the past three seasons yet we keep playing JJ and running the offense.

Until we do something logical on offense my money is on JJ starting.

I don't like it but Miles didn't call me for my opinion. :D

Actually it doesnt matter who gets the start, they will both see the field, so does it really matter if JJ stalls out the first drive or the 3rd drive. Count on it JJ will play, he will more than likely be ineffective and more than likely cost us at the very least damage to our T.O.P & Field Position

To me, CLM not wanting to name a starter for the first time this season suggests that Lee will be getting his first start this week. Would be nice if we end up with solid play in all 3 phases and blow them out!

The good news for Jefferson is that, if he starts, he won't know if those few boos are coming from Auburn fans or LSU fans (but we'll know...)

Too far. Lee needs to be starting, but Jefferson may just be in a slump. We've had quarterbacks hurt frequently. Lee could go down and Jefferson needs to be ready. I've always thought that a backup quarterback should get a drive or two in all games, just to keep his head in the game and his skills polished if he has to go in.
