Let's just say that he doesn't have any frequent flyer miles and he ain't going to get any in the Big12.
You would think he doesn't have much of choice right? @Bengal B is exactly right about top notch defensive guys, they are not flocking to the big 12. But the offense players are and for good reason. Take a look at the last few drafts and see how many D players were taken from the Big 12. LSU alone had more than their entire conference. I think. Now, is it because the offenses are that developed and with much better talent or are the defenses just that bad. @tirk @TerryP
Both probably. If you are a 4 or 5 star DB you go LSU or Alabama. If you are s 4 or 5 star DL you commit to LSU and then switch to Alabama on signing day. The B12 is mostly towns where nobody wants to spend 5 minutes, much less 3 to 5 years. After Austin, Ft Worth and possibly Norman the school are in locations that even Starkville wouldn't envy.
One kilometer equals .621 miles. Les should change his name to Les Kilometer because he is always coming up short.
I *think* they only had two drafted in the first two rounds (both linemen on defense.) I know they had a total of 26 taken in the last draft. I could see six wins. Their first three, last two, with a win against TTU in the middle of the season. Heck, KU may be able to get by TCU again (though I'm of the opinion that they will be better than expected this season.) One thing for certain, neither UNC or KU has been on stable footing these past two years.
Now you made me look it up. 8 on defense, maybe last year it was less. That is sad, 8 from the entire conference.
