The 'wagoners see the condoms in the mix every year because they benifit from being the only relevant school in their recruiting region and playing a weak conference schedule every year and they think...."LSU should be able to do that! We're LSU! We should be unbeatable! We have top-five recruiting classes so that should make us the best school in the country...even though the classes rated above ours don't win it all either :rolleye33:!" No team, no school, no coach could have overcome the difficulties placed on LSU this year. New defensive staff...new grass-green QBs, losing practically an entire NFL team to the draft in the past two years, playing so many weeks without an open date for rest and regrouping, and a FREAKING HURRICANE to kick things off. Get real or get off the wagon.
Every team that wins the nc has some luck along the way but get real how often a two loss team gets to the title game?

Good points! Those aren't excuses...they are our unfortunate reality...and they all happened in the same year. Six months ago we thought Hatch would be #2, Lee #3, and Jefferson on the bench as a red shirt. No team is going to win much with their fourth string QB. We were one play (injury) away from playing a walk-on.
I am so tired of hearing how miles only won with sabans talent.....so to get it straight saban is only winning with shula's talent right because he took over the program with alot of talent on that team and so that should be said about him.... Everyone needs to get off of the fire Miles kick...it is really pissing me off....unless you just became a tiger fan after they won the championship in 2003 and werent at any of there games before that...then you need to hush up because it was really bad back then...i remember and was there and am here now and i love it now.... one reason they are not winning is because when you watch them play they are not a team and there is no leader for the team and that is a main problem...nobody has taken the horns and said lets kick some ass and get our heads out of our assess and play some football.... and lets not get me started on the BCS crap....lsu dropping out....but when georgia was #1 and only won by a minimum they dropped...LSU had a bye and they dropped...alabama two byes and never dropped and then OU beating TT that big, they should have jumped alabama and florida should have jumped alabama because they have been putting up the points on there opponents...it is favoritism plain and simple and it will never change until there is a playoff system in affect and we all have to suffer through it.. but i am a tiger fan and always will be a tiger fan and my kids and then there kids will be too...so on and so on and they will be told of all of my memories and my family's memories which are all special in one sort of way about LSU football since I met Bert Jones and all the great players to follow..... LSU!
