    2005: 11-2 finished season #6
    2006: 11-2 finished season #3
    2007: 12-2 finished season #1
    2008: 7-4

FIRE Miles!!!!!! He obviously can't coach. How good can he be if he has only won 1 NC.

So, Florida lost 4 games with a heisman trophy winning QB. LSU has lost 4 games with a QB who plays football like a blind hobo. You're right, apples and oranges.

About the losses. Ok, LSU lost by 14 to #11 Georgia, Jarrett Lee gave up 14 points directly with 2 interceptions returned for TD's and another 3 indirectly with an INT to put them in field goal range. LSU lost by 30 to #4 Florida . . .that was a just a bad loss. LSU lost to #1 Alabama by 6 with Jarrett Lee giving up 7 points with 1 pick six, and throwing another 3 interceptions. And then today was simply disgusting.

So we have had 2 really bad losses and another 2 that you could argue were lost because JL threw pick sixes.

I don't understand why people are so quick to turn on Miles after kicking a star QB off the team, with whom we more than likely would've beaten. We still would've lost to Florida and probably Ole Piss.

edit: and no one "hung 50+" on them but I remember a crappy michigan team hanging 41 on them and a georgia team hanging 42.

    why ?

UF had a heisman QB and still lost 4!

Would we have gotten blown out all those games witha Heisman QB?

Just be grateful that Tuberfail isn't on your sideline.

Don't worry. He won't be on yours next year either.

You'll get a good coach. So will the Cowbell U.

Then there will be 5 teams ascending in the SEC West. And one team descending.

Wow, I sure hope you're right. To be honest, it appears as if he's going to return. Lowder better force him to fire his inept coordinators though. Our entire offensive staff is a joke. I want some new blood to take charge, because I strongly believe Tuberfail will keep intervening his conservative a$$ with whoever takes the new OC job. He's done it for years, so why change now? I just really miss the Tiger bowl not having any national relevance anymore.

Regarding LSU, I always thought Miles had too big of a big head to be successful (pun intended). Yes, he does have a ring, but he earned it with another coach's players. He's an 8-4 type coach, and will continue to prove it on the field as long as you guys keep him around.

I actually like Les Miles. But next year will be his first at LSU with all his own players, and he's already on the verge of making the Tigers irrelevant in the SEC.

This time next year, when Tiger Stadium is averaging crowds that look like the 4th quarter of the Troy game, Joe Alleva will be conducting interviews for Miles's successor.
