At least we did not lose to Syracuse.

I am learning to not respond emotionally w/in 24 hours of a game, as others have recommended. TC, you are surely a passionate LSU fan, and only want what is best, and you may be right, but give CLM a chance to make sound decisions like he has at other times. Clearly, naming two DCs, each of which could not be DCs individually, was not a shining example of a good decision, but he did win the NC, we have quality players, and a quality recruiting class. We are a QB and D-coord away from being a great team again.

Who even looks fast for LSU anymore? Not even Trindon. It's disgusting.

In 24 hours, how does this loss get any better? I'm not nearly as mad this time around, mostly because I've gotten accustomed to being let down this year. I'm about as calm as I can get, and I still think this has been embarrassing. LSU never deserved to be ranked all season, and it's sad so many people watched LSU choke... yet again. 3 losses at home? 4 blow outs? No wins against anyone good?

    There's always next year.

First off we were very lucky last year, I'm as happy as anybody that we won it but let's be honest we were very lucky.
Secondly, a national title buy's you 5 years? A program can go downhill rather quickly so if your not careful so I disagree.

IF Les replaces Co-DCs then between Shepard and Jefferson, I think we will be okay.

However, most fans realized Pelini's D was on its last leg, and I understood the logic behind Les' decision, but it scares me that he did not realize the scheme was failing.

What also scares me is Danielson kept claiming that Miles said Jefferson was not ready? With much less playing time he looked smarter, poised and more polished than Lee. Let's just hope that comment was the usual coach speak.

I just hope he is not hard headed and loyal to a fault. We will know soon enough. One needs not to look much further though, than UF last year, with 4 losses and questionable D. They seemed able to turn it around and they even lost to :eek:lefire:.

His offseason decisions will spell out the future of this program. We just have to root for the Tigers, and wait and see!

I agree with you fully, but I think TC is reacting emotionally right now. That is fine, but sometimes you end up coming across as not supporting your team even when they are down. I understand the frustrations, and want a change in coordinators, too, but Miles is a good coach and will have the team rebounding soon. If the product on the field now continues past this season, then maybe what is said on the original thread will be true, but CLM deserves a little more faith.

Looking at his record since coming to LSU it is hard to understand this thread and similar such threads.

Not a bad post. But this 2007 Florida comparison is a terribly false analogy.

Florida lost the following games in 2007:

    vs. Auburn, 20-17
    at LSU, 28-24
    vs. Georgia, 42-30
    vs. Michigan, 41-35

Where are the blowouts? Where did somebody hang 50+ on them?

And, oh yeah, they had a Heisman Trophy winning QB who is the cornerstone of their national championship run this year!

Stop comparing 2008 LSU with 2007 Florida! That logic should be against the law! :tigereye:
