Just more evidence of bias. The media wants a #1 ranking to hype when USC plays Ohio State. But Mandel is full of crap about how things have evolved... If USC were in the same situation as Georgia, they would keep USC at #1. The only thing that has evolved is that the bias has become more blatant.
So basically, there wasn't any bias when Georgia was picked # 1 before the season started, but there was bias right after the season started... I'll have to give that logic a tad more thought... perhaps a vodka/tonic could help me....
If it was anyone besides USC now sitting up there, you may would have an argument. To echo what's been pointed out already, the media wanted USC ranked number one prior to their game against Ohio St.
I agree with most of this post, but I seriously doubt UGA will be in the top 10 when they come to Tiger Stadium. They may well have two losses by then.
I don't know if USC would or would not beat UGA, but that's beside the point. After LSU dismantled Va Tech last year, and USC had a lack-luster outing against Idaho, we didn't jump them. That's all I'm saying. The media love for USC is in full swing...
