Who can we expect to be our next verbal commit? How long before this happens. Any recruiting gurus have any rumors that they have been hearing.

Hopefully, a bunch a top-flight LA boys: Rueben Randle, that DT out of Mansfield, Montrell Conner, etc.

I like the fact that we're tearing TX up, and getting several kids from FL and GA, but I'm ready for us to get some commits from our own top kids.

Like islstl said in a previous post, this is not a good year for limited schollies.

I'd bet we get another batch of commits out of the second Jr. Day.

Does anyone have a list of expected attendees?

:LSU231:This may end up being the sickest recruiting class in the history of college football, IN MY "OPINION". I want to stress in my opinion, but top to bottom and every position I think it could be. You talk about a 5 star quarterback, 5 star running back (Ford), 5 star receiver (Randle), 1 maybe 2 5 star defensive tackles in (McFarland and Davenport). That is either 4 or 5 5 star players. When you add in possibly Minter, Conner, Bell, Faulk, Ainsworth, Lipscomb, Mingo, etc... it will be nasty. I realize that the USC class of either 04 or 03 had like 8 5 stars, but they were all on offensive line and linebacker. Our's won't be so concentrated and it isn't Juco players like 2 or 3 of the SC's 5 star recruits in that particular class. We are talking about Shepard being a Reggie Bush, Vince Young type of player along with Ford and Randle who are big-time. Davenport and McFarland are can't miss prospects too. I may sound yoked, you're dang right I am.

:wave::wave: oh and for good measure: :eek:lefire: I just felt like putting that on here, that is my favorite but it gets rarely used.

I think before the end of summer, we will definitely have Kenny Bell & Barkevious Mingo.

Other guys, like Davenport are going to be basically silent commits. We know they will be Tigers, but they want to take visits, etc.

    Other possibilities: Kevin Minter?

Kenny Bell gets my vote as well. Lispcomb as well if he gets an LSU offer.

If LSU steals them, then we're looking at Okafor and Loston next. But those are big IFs. Then comes Bell and later Mingo. Conner is somewhere in about the time of Mingo, I would guess.
