I get a little ticked whenever I see a reference to Clemson's "Death Valley", but that's because I've assumed LSU's stadium used the phrase first. Am I right?

Kind of ticks me off...I always liked Deaf Valley. Don't know why it didn't stick.

The question is, who has made better use of the term? :crystal::crystal:

    But they suck at it.

Their NC hopes are the only thing that dies there. We were not first, but we are the only real Death Valley.

That never really bothered me probably because they're in another conference and you don't hear much about them.

The one that always drives me nuts is Auburn. Are they Plainsmen, War Eagles, or Tigers? They have a goofy tiger mascot yet the big moment is when the eagle flies in.

I would think they would stick with War Eagles because they would be the only one with that mascot. Not only are there other Tigers around the country but they have one in their own conference which happens to be in their own division.

In sports, LSU overshadows Auburn so I would think they would want to be something other than Tigers.
