Yes...It is UT's for the taking. But for some reason I don't think they will. My guts have been telling me so.

I don't think Kansas needs to lose to Iowa State in your scenario.

Once Kansas loses to its first legit team (Missouri), the voters will drop them so fast it will make your head spin. That will take them out of the picture, beyond a few 2 loss teams.

    My predicted upsets this weekend:
    Texas Tech over OU
    Cincy over WVU
    Michigan over Ohio State

Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri, OU, and Kansas wins this weekend

    BCS (after this weekend):

    1. LSU
    2. Kansas

    3. Missouri
    4. Arizona State
    5. Georgia
    6. Virginia Tech
    7. OU
    8. Florida
    9. Texas
    10. WVU
    11. USC

    Next weekend's predicted results:

    Mizzou over Kansas
    USC over ASU
OU, Georgia, Tennessee, USC, Virginia Tech, Florida, Texas, WVU all win

    BCS Standings after NEXT weekend:

    1. LSU
    2. Missouri

    3. Georgia
    4. Virginia Tech
    5. USC
    6. OU
    7. Florida
    8. Kansas
    9. Texas
    10. WVU

    Last weekend's results:

OU beats Missouri, Virginia Tech beats Clemson

    Final BCS standings:

    1. LSU
    2. Virginia Tech

    3. Georgia
    4. OU
    5. USC
    6. Missouri
    7. Florida
    8. Kansas
    9. Texas
    10. WVU

Note: LSU will be so far ahead of everyone in the computer polls (much like OU in 03), that LSU could actually lose to Tennessee and finish #2 in the BCS behind #1 Virginia Tech (or possibly even stay #1, depending on the voters and how close the score was plus the fact that LSU drubbed VTech earlier in the season). In Nutria's scenario he had USC vying for that #2 spot. What I think hurts USC is the fact that if all these upsets happen THIS weekend, they are idle and cannot climb as much as they would have had they played and beaten ASU. Unfortunately for them, they play ASU next weekend.

LSU vs Virginia Tech for all the marbles.

2nd most possible scenario if all these upsets occur has LSU vs Georgia. Vtech would have to lose a game along the way, most probably the CG or Virginia on the road (although I think Virginia is a fraud). I just don't see Georgia holding off VTech with Vtech playing that extra game.
