Yes, I read it. Lawyers casing a wide net. Because he is the face of the football program adding him to the lawsuit brings more attention. The people who ran the Title IX office, Ausberry, and Segar were responsible and should be held accountable. If Orgeron is fired, it will be for lack of on the field performance by the team he is paid (very well) to lead. His minor involvement in the Title IX issues and his off the indiscretions are merely background noise which no one will care about if he comes anywhere close to duplicating the magical 2019 season.
it will make a ton of difference in his buyout… who do you think is okaying these stories? knives are out for Ed….
Not sure. If it gets unbearable maybe Woodward pulls the trigger but there's no obvious interim on staff with E retiring. Maybe Greg McMahon? Tough call there. I think agents are already aware the job is likely to come open so coaches that would be interested.. that's already going on imo. Think USC needed to get out in front and really get the focus on them all year with hope from the fanbase and an excuse for being bad. LSU doesn't have to play such games to be an attractive job. The last 3 coaches won titles here including Miles and O and no one wanted to hire either despite them winning it all here. That's a crazy feather in the cap of how elite your school is.. subpar coaches can win it all here.
Yes that's my take I truly believe LSU's defense is as good as Georgia's and as a whole maybe better. This will be O's best defense since he's been HC. Let me ask you this would you trade ours starters on defense with anyone from Georgia? Let's see how it turns out.
Kiki, I agree we should hold judgment a bit longer on O. But Georgia’s defense is incredible this year. I would trade 9/11 starters on defense with them without a second’s hesitation. They shut out Clemson when their own offense couldn’t move the ball.
