Therein lies the problem . This program is still STILL in a stupor from ‘19. The bizarre nature of what Corona did to the calendar and a greater degree the sports seasons in ‘20 makes the Clemson game seem like last weekend .
LSU still feels the euphoria of ‘19. Nobody wants to go back to work and let’s face it Baby Huey
God bless em ain’t the man to stand in front of the troops a la Saban and make them feel there are higher mountains to climb. Hell he’s practically gone full Will Ferrell in ‘Old School’ himself.
Baby Huey will pay the price . His head will be John the Baptist on this prob by mid season ‘22 ,but I sometimes wonder if the problem at LSU when we stub our toe upon an Archer, Hallman or DiNardo is if the problem isn’t more the culture here than the man?

I was also the same guy who wanted O in 2016 which led to a NC in 2019. One loss so early in the season does not a season make. Yep we will win this weekend and next weekend. After Miss State I will make a judgment. UCLA and McNeese are better than thought is my position. O is 45-14 since 2016 with a NC. I look at the 2020 results and that doesn't bother me one bit. I won't go into all of the things O had to deal with that year. Time will tell if I am right or wrong.

Way way way too early right now to be talking about a coaching change.

Been there before. Was in the minority in 2016, 2017, 2018 not so much in 2019. In the minority now and comfortable here. LSU is better than most everyone thinks.

    Agreed….
With Covid, hurricanes and a national championship, O’s leash is definitely not a short one….

Ridiculous to compare Helton w EO unless he has won a NC in last 5 years? Ever? I can give 21 million reasons why a broke school wont do anything midseason.
