I used the Coaches Preseason Poll as a guideline for my choices.

If you voted for the field, please name the team and give an explanation as to why you chose that team.

I'm sure no one has any question as to who I'm going with. Should be a great season.

Ohio St.. great team B11 is down and no conf champ game. they get past USC, go undefeated, and beat an undefeated WV in the NC game.

I chose the field. Most of these teams play each other, or I'm not sold on them, or whatever.

I think someone like Wisconsin, Va Tech, or a PAC-10 team will put it all together and win the title this year.

    Potentially!

I'm going with the Buckeyes because of the expierence and the things Gumborue mentioned. They could lose to USC and still make it and possibly in a rematch game for the NC. If multiple teams have only one lose then I see them getting cut from the NC depending on who those teams are and who they lost to.

BTW, my father-in-law is a big buckeye fan and they are my 2nd favorite team. Were my 2nd team before I meet him. However, I did convince him to an agreement that he would burn every OSU shirt he owns if they lose to a SEC team this year. (minus his autograph Jersey)

I voted OK. They bring back their QB who is a soph., they play in the big 12, so about 2 tough tests for the year, Stoopes is proven, and they can beat OSU in the title game.

Ohio State, but only because I'm guessing they won't have to play an SEC team in the BCS CG. If they do, then they're screwed.
