You know he does. I look forward to round two of Wilson vs. Jones this November--though I'm sure that JPW doesn't feel the same.
I think Jones is a better athlete & is more versatile with higher upside, but I expect Coleman to be a great safety for us.
What's even funnier is that I lived at Hatcher my freshman year. I was the confused looking guy getting dropped off at 9am in front, usually sans a few clothing articles. I did not set the world on fire academically in my first semester...
I think this is how we will see it to. Unless there are some injuries I wouldnt expect him to be a full game at one position guy - kind of like Manu Ginobili.
yeah. I can see that. He is certainly capable. A lot depends on the corners. If the 1 and 2 corners hold down the fort well, then you can afford to have the extra safety/corner in the nickel. If the corners do not hold down the fort, then you need a move coverage oriented guy back there. So it's really up to Jai Eugene and the crew.
I would go along with this...some kind of rover position where he can move around and ballhawk. I asked The Hat about Coleman at a presser during the Tiger Tour, and you should have seen his eyes light up.
I am sticking to my guns and going with the ultra talented Chad Jones. What a lovely little problem to have.
While I like Coleman I think Chad Jones is a starting job away from being and All American. He just seems to "know" where to be. I like the fact that either one can play nickle and that helps out when teams try to run it out of the spread. I will take either one but I favor Jones because of his size and speed.
