I think we'll hire the new DC by the end of the week, but I wonder who. My bet is on the man from Cut Off, LA. despite his record this year, we know he's a hell of a DC and an even crazier recruiter.

Regardless, I believe Miles said Bo would be coaching the NC game. Apparently he will return to BR after dead week starts on Dec 17.

Who will run our defense? Glenn Dorsey, of course...

Seriously, I don't believe Pelini will run it for the NCG, nor should he. He has other commitments now, and we will move on. I still don't believe his heart was in the job from mid-season on as it was.

He should, however, receive a ring after the beat down the Buckeyes.

Sounds like Pelini may indeed coach the NC game. Kinda surprised Nebraska will allow it.

Let me preface by saying that I don't think Bo SHOULD stay and coach the NCG, although I have no problem with Bo...just don't think his mind will be on LSU. Of course, I'm pretty sure his mind has been elsewhere the past SEVERAL weeks, so maybe he'll be more clear thinking now.

BUT, correct me if I'm wrong...CParso?? Aren't we about to enter a dead period concerning recruiting? I don't think he'll be able to recruit much between now and then anyway.

    Dead period is Dec 17 - Jan 3, then again Jan 7 - 10.

But he does have to put a staff together and all the other stuff that comes with being a HC. I do wonder if there are enough hours in a day to do both jobs.

I guarantee you that this has been decided already by Neb and by LSU. Pelini has had the NEB deal done for close to a month and at that time we were in the driver's seat for the NT game. So that was worked out already. We just don't know it yet.

Don't know I how i really feel about this, but thank god we have good senior leadership. Now we just need a better gameplan than what he had for the last few weeks of the season.
