I'm pretty sure that LSU scheduling UW had a lot to do with Mark Emmert. Ya know, our former chancellor who is now the president of UW? Also, UW was probably a lot better than they were last year at the time that we scheduled them.
So I've been lurking for a couple days now here and hate jokers that come to other teams forums and start talk. For these reasons I've stayed, quiet. I'm just going to keep to information on UW. First I was about to post that Locker video and you should watch it. He really is an impressive player and we would have had more wins if he stayed healthy. Shoot we had a chance at BYU until the penalty (regardless how you feel about that). BYU did end up 16th in the country with 2 losses, bad conference, but unless it is the SEC they all suck (note of sarcasm). So anyway, because some of you brought up some of the variables that could affect this game, my real comment here was the weather could be interesting. 10 Day Weather Forecast for Seattle, WA (98125) - weather.com It'll probably be around 55 - 60 and raining. So late night and weather could be a couple interesting variables to throw into the mix.
Welcome to the forum. While the rain could add something different to the game I don't look for it to affect us too badly. I suspect our running game will be strong this year.
Now that is damned interesting, Husky. We've had west coast teams open in Louisiana in 95-degree 90% humidity subtropical September and absolutely wilt. I hadn't considered cold wet Washington weather as a factor, but it probably will. The Tiger won't even break a sweat. Just Kidding. Seriously, I'm not sure if a team that has been practicing in Louisiana summer heat and humidity would be invigorated by "football weather" that we don't see until November . . . or could they be put off by the unexpected coldness, play tight, drop footballs, etc. Hard to say. But I suppose on the weather edge, I'd say advantage Washington. Those guys are used to playing in northern rain forest weather.
Yeah and I wish it were Nevada for us, but last minute scheduling after teams bail on contracts is kind of get the best you can.
