I definitely think that the votes are skewed a little to take into account the fact that McFadden beat us with an outstanding performance. Otherwise I think that Tebow would have a decent margin on McFadden in this poll on TF.

Only 4 were invited just announced today: Tebow, McFadden, Daniel, Brennen

About what I expected, thought maybe Pat White would have been invited to.

I am surprised a little. I figured Tebow would win BIG. I realize that McFadden had 200+ yards against us, but 70 something of that came on a run around the left side where only one guy touched him. Any good D1 running back would have made that play.

    Ok, I am done!

Tebow will and should win it. A few points. How talented is the SEC when it produces the top 2 candidates? Years ago the thought of a sophmore winning the prize would have been unheard of. Now with the best talent often turning pro after their junior year, we will probably need to have someone win it in their sophmore and junior year if we will ever have another 2 time winner such as Archie Griffin. I think McFadden will go pro after this year, especially with Nutt's departure--LSU fans encourage this please. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see Tebow play through his senior year. The pros do not reguard him as a great passer, although I think he is underated so he may not enjoy the draft ranking he deserves. Even if the pros are fairly high on him after his junior year he is different in that he was homeschooled and very religious. What I am saying is that he does not fit the mold and may not be as concerned about the money being waved at him by the agents. For LSU's sake I wish he would turn pro yesterday, but that is my take. Florida will be hard to beat if he stays and they insert a talented RB that he can fake the ball to or keep it himself--that is their missing piece of the puzzle.

What's with the love for Tebow? Mcfadden did what Superman couldn't. Single handily defeat the future National Champs. :LSU231:

McFadden will be a better pro but Tebow had one hell of an amazing season and deserves the award. He is more needed for his team to win than McFadden.

Got to give this one to Tim Tebow. Kids a warrior, he's basically been UFs offense this year.

I'd Rather see McFadden (a junior) get it. Tebow (a sophomore) will win the Heisman next year. A lot of people think McFadden is going to enter the Draft. Although it would be cool to see him come back for his senior year.

SEC quarterbacks who have won the Heisman: Florida's Steve Spurrier ('66), Auburn's Pat Sullivan ('71), Florida's Danny Wuerffel ('96), Florida's Tim Tebow ('07, '08, '09)?

SEC running backs who have won the Heisman: Georgia's Frank Sinkwich ('42), LSU's Billy Cannon ('59), South Carolina's George Rogers ('80), Georgia's Herschel Walker ('82), Auburn's Bo Jackson ('85), Arkansas' Darren McFadden ('07, '08)?

Did TF members get it right?

We will find out in 10 minutes.

I think the vote will be split along the lines of what you see here and Tebow will be the first sophomore to win it, and deservedly so.
