I know in the fire from last year the neighbor had paid the fee and that is why the fire dept was there. The one that didn't got a pile of ashes. I don't know about the most recent one but I sort of agree, if you are going to roll the truck you may as well put it out and deal with it after. Now, if they didn't pay the fee and none of the surrounding homes that did pay were not in danger then I'd roll right over and go back to sleep in the fire station bunk. At some point these hicks are going to understand that these boys aint playing around with this fee business.
Correct. I'd typed a response to red and the forum hung up and I'd lost it. I'd also stated that you start putting out fires for people who didn't pay and you can forget collecting anyone the following year. That's what's our Country is financially phucked up today. Too many people want freebies- like that b1tch with 15 babies. To say go ahead and put it out since you were there is missing the point completely. It would be like saying EVERY kid that asks mom for candy at the check out should be able to take some- even the ones who can't pay for it. Just cause it's there doesn't mean the poor should get to have some like the kid whose parents could afford it.
You big meanie. But I agree 100% pay the damn $75 a year. They spend X amount more than that on sh1t to make moonshine which is probably what caught the damn shack on fire in the first place.
Why would someone spend money on buying moonshine when you can buy a half gallon of 190 proof everclear for twenty bucks? Acoholl is alcohol. There is absolutely no diffrence in the alcohol in moonshine and that in beer, wine or wiskey. I don't understand why anyone would risk getting caught bootleging when you can buy better tasteing stuff for less money. I drank moonshine before. It tasted just like any other high alcohol content rum or vodka. I don't understand. Take a couple shots of moonshine and take a couple shots of 151 rum and the exact same thing happens. Throat burns, make an ugly face and become drunk to most likely puke later.
I probably haven't had a 12 pack of beer in seven years. I made a promise to god if my boy didn't die I would change my ways. My boy is here and I have changed. To some of you this may sound stupid but it's perfectly simple to me.
Not much reason anymore. It was once much cheaper to drink 'shine because it wasn't taxed. But today with the high price of sugar and propane for the moonshiner and the high price of gasoline for the bootlegger, they ask almost as much as for legal liquor. It's why moonshining is dying out.
I don't know, maybe hickville will go for the trifecta. I thought they would have all paid it after the first shack went poof.
