They keep showing Tebow:cuss: blowing his top yelling at every coach and player on the field. Does LSU have a guy like that this year?

I would say Dickson and/or Black. I saw CB chewing some ass out on the sidelines this past week.. but no one person has emerged as the offensive 'leader'.

We expect more out of our players  We don't let our players get physical (Harvin) with our coaches either -- unlike Urban.

Scott, Lafell, Black are the offensive leaders. The defense really looks to be rallying around Chad Jones too.

Anyone else notice how JJ gets a look on his face when something does not go right, like he just ate a nasty lemon? For some reason that bugs me, and I just hope he lets it go. He certainly is not the type of QB that says "my bad" or claps and pats guys on the back. I assume its because he is young and has not asserted himself as a team leader. As long as he performs, I guess it does not matter, just something I noticed.

Careful! Some here would say that if he showed NO facial expression (more specifically showing no notable disgust) that he "doesn't care" or "...always has a lost look in his eyes" or "...can't get fired up".

...you know, just like they say about Miles.

I don't think that any one player has performed well enough this year to assume that role just yet. Not saying it won't happen, it just hasn't so far.

You have to lead by example. And if you're yelling at other people to fall in line and get their heads out of their as.ses then you damn well better limit your own mistakes. This is why Ciron Black can’t quite fit this bill just yet. He’s been making an uncharacteristically high number of mistakes so far this season.

Do we really want "leaders" that go around yelling at their coaches? And if we DID have a player doing that, there would be 15 threads here and 150 threads on TOS about "Miles has no control over and zero respect of his players..."

I understand where you're coming from and I agree that would be the response from the fandom.

On the other hand, being void in the area of vocal leadership is not a good thing either. We look like we're just treading water out there at times and no one steps up to motivate these guys to play better ball. That's a problem.
