A third of the regular season is gone and the cream rises to the top. I guess people are going to pick Lee, but I'm picking Barksdale. The offensive line had four returning starters and the new guy made them better than last season. It's the best OL in decades around here.

Agreed, but I like how Charles Scott and Brandon Lafell have come along since last season as well. It's difficult to pick just one... What a problem to have.

I agree with all those... would also like to mention Jai Eugene. I think he has played really well.

I don't think Scott really improved, he's just been given the opportunity. He had nearly the same avg per carry before.

Jai Eugene get s my vote. He has really stepped up after a very rocky start to his career.

I wouldn't say Lafell becuase he really turned it on the 2nd half of the season last year and only had a 3-4 game spurt of drops around games 3-6.

Barksdale impressed me last year as well.

Charles Scott has really developed over the summer in his lateral movement and just seeing the holes and field but he was pretty good last season as well.

However, I would go with Jai Eugene overall because he took a beating from fans last year and instead of letting it get to him, he used it as motivation.

Also have to add Chris and Jared Mitchell because they really turned it on in the offseason to earn significant PT this year and have not disappointed.

i cant choose just one so

QB-Lee and Hatch both deserve it both didnt play last year minus a few snaps from Lee

RB-Quinn Johnson i think CS KW RM etc all had the skills QJ is the one who stepped up as a BLOCKER taking on the role of fulltime FB

WR- LaFell he improved towards the end of the year but now hes a sure handed leader and a big threat on offense

OL- Joesph Barksdale i think we all knew hed be good

DL- Rahim Alem last year when i watched him he just looked like a sprinter now i think he looks like a more polished DE

LB- Jacob Cutrera he has been solid replacing DB and i couldnt say Perry Riley or Kelvin Sheppard bc i didnt see them to mich last year

CB- Jai Eugene big big improvement

S- Harry Coleman even tho he had a big BCS game i think hes leading the team in tackles Landry-Steltz-Coleman whos next?

Scott. Racking up big numbers taking some of the burden off of Hatch & Lee.

I'd go with Eugene. All of the other guys named so far (except maybe Chris Mitchell) have shown some indication of what they could do. They just needed some seasoning and more playing time. Until this year, Eugene has generally looked lost every time he's been out there.

I would have to say Charles Scott.

His performance from last year to this year is like night and day. And he wasn't all that bad last season to begin with.

This year, I dunno, he's a complete back. Last season, it seemed that if he didn't run over the defender, he wasn't going to get many yards after...Now, he can still bowl over you, but he's actually looked better reading blocks, and making guys miss with a juke.
