bama's secondary can be exploited but they are young and talented and their d is still really good. I think McElroy's experience will be the difference with the remaining schedule. Arkansas is the sleeper. They could win the west if Mallet wasnt a knucklehead. He makes decisions like '08 Lee. Their loss to Bama likely cost them that chance but could still make a run. stranger things have happened. Auburn's pass defense is terrible. They will have to outscore you. This isnt the WAC. Shore up your defense if you are serious about winning the west. then get back to us. I think our offense will cost us a couple games and keep us from winning the west. Im pretty sure Lee still has the favre gene and JJ is below average. Im guessing we lose a couple due to our inability to put up points. ill pick bama and florida to meet in atlanta and hope like hell once again for an al qaeda strike if it happens. If we do make it to the seccg I dont care who we play, we should beat any team from the east. Lee will have had enough reps and confidence by then if it happens and he will be riding one helluva streak. confidence would be through the roof. I'd love to see it happen for that kid above all else. les may the luckiest sob in college football but its going on year 6 where things often go his way. why would anyone bet on it changing. dude lives a charmed life. its time i just accept it. skip is the only person I can compare him to and tried denying it up until the stanford cws game. then i was forced to believe. the fact les was going to kick the fg until the time clock ran out which forced him to call a timeout just adds to the lore. that was when and only when he decided on the fake. you cant make that **** up and have anyone believe it.
I think both of them will tell us a lot more about our team as well. We beat AU and we could meet Ark with an 11-0 record, we beat both of them and are 12-0, we are in the SECCG no if's and's or but's.
There's this little team called Alabama in between there, too, ya know. I agree, though, if we beat Auburn, we could conceivably enter Arkansas 11-0.
Best team, interesting. Bama has been the most consistent until USC pounded them. The surprising thing to me was the totality of the beating. The score did not tell the story. Until that day they owned college football 2010 - far do the the mighty fall. Bama is talented and deep. The Hog's have really only played one good team - and lost. They also beat A&M, but the Aggies haven't done anything. The Hogs don't feel like a complete team. They are almost the anti-LSU. Great at QB - but thin at other key positions. The birdtigers are ??. Good win over USC, 2-3 Clemson took them to overtime, struggled to beat K-Y and Miss St. They are the Hogs with a dual threat QB - and a better defense. Good talent level, depth could be a problem. And then there is the GOOD GUYS. Several marque wins - shaky but wins. Solid D, solid ST, the big "O" - thats sometimes not so big. But a couple of huge game winning drives. This team has solid talent and depth everywhere but at QB. USC - Has the marque win of the year, but lost to the only other good team they played - the birdtigers. Strong team but inconsistent especially at QB. They'll win the east by default if for no other reason. They have a history of no history. Survey Says FIRST PLACE TIE; LSU - Bama - Winner likely wins the west. Edge Tiger Stadium. The state of Mississippi could play an important role here. Potential trap games are Miss State for Alabama and for LSU; . . wait for it . . wait for it THE BLACK BEARS. Third Place - birdtigers 4th - USC 5th - -Who gives a chyt
Watch Bama play the next two games sloppy barely beating Ole Miss and Tennessee. Bama needs that off week before we play LSU, how we play in that game will define how we will finish. Bama, LSU and Auburn all hold destiny in their own hands but right now we are tired and have some key players dinged up.
1) Can LSU regain the positive in turnovers? 2) Tigers need Patrick Peterson on the field all of 4th qtr 3) CLM/GC need to convince themselves to ride their new horse named LEE!
