    THIS!!!

Auburn and Arky are one trick ponys. S.C, FL, Bama and LSU are "teams".

I think two of the latter 4 will be in the SEC CG. I'm thinking S.C. will likely mop up the East ... so the toss up, IMO, is between LSU and Bama. Whoever wins that game will go to the NC game. I don't see S.C. rolling Bama twice.

Yep. Bama's balance vs. LSU's "peaking".

God help me but I love it so. :geaux:

And I'm still laughing at you.

J/K, you may end up being right after all.

I think overall, it will come down to LSU and Bama. They are the only two teams with strong running games and good defense. Auburn is putting up a lot of numbers on the ground with Cam Newton, but they can't play defense for squat. Arkansas is pathetic on the ground, though they are actually starting to play decent defense. I don't think South Carolina is really very good in any phase. They rank in the 60s in both offense and defense, and that's just not going to cut it in the SEC. To me, they are a fraud.

2 reasons i picked USC. 1 was Florida lost way too much, and I just didn't see them being any kind of offensive threat minus Tebow. I would like to see Florida's 3rd down percentage last year compared to this years. 2, i am usually wrong, and have no credibility anyway, so if i pick USC and i am wrong, no sweat, but if i'm right, i am a genius for a split second.

I agree with you though on your points, especially about Auburn, they have ZERO defense, and I think Arkansas beats them by at least 2 touchdowns.

    Ask and ye shall receive.

    2009 Florida 3rd down conversion % - 49.15% (7th nationally)

    2010 Florida 3rd down conversion % - 43.24% (42nd nationally)

    Just for fun:

    2009 LSU 3rd down conversion % - 38.13% (71st nationally)

    2010 LSU 3rd down conversion % - 43.53% (41st nationally)

I think if USC does pull it out, it will be mostly because of the reason you mention. The relative weakness of Florida and the rest of the east.

I'm not sure I'm so impressed with Arkansas yet, either. It's odd for the jury to still be out on so many teams halfway throught the season.

I think AU vs. Arkansas will tell us a lot more about both of those teams.

Well, I am not biased, (cough, cough), and I can clearly see that LSU is the best team in the SEC. The winner of the Bama/LSU game will win the West, and we have them right where we want them...

    DEATH VALLEY!
