SyrTiger...the football force is strong with you my friend. I'm looking for Miami to solidify and do something tonight. If they don't it will be a long seasons for the U. Look for Notre Dame to go big this week and bounce back from their loss last week. Penn State fans should be worried. I was telling my GF last night, (she be a yankie from Penn), that Temple could very well topple Penn this weekend. I stayed the hell away from this game in my pick'em contest. When SC beats Auburn this weekend it want be a upset. SC is legit this year. A good defense with a decent Quarter back. I really see them contending for the SEC East.
That would surprise the hell out of me. Harbaugh is not messing around out there. They've been bringing the pain to their recent foes. ND will be mince meat. I hope all other SEC coaches stay put until Harbaugh jets for greener pastures. . .
Bama handles Arky with ease; Kentucky pulls the shocker in the swamp. "Once you've spent a weekend in Auburn, there's really no reason to visit West Virginia."
Arky will have everyone in the box and stop the run and force McElroy to beat them. I am not saying he wont, but if you don't stop the run first you have NO chance against Bama. Last year Bama had 134 yds rushing against Arky and 52 came on one play from Richardson. McElroy played well and beat them. This year at Arky, with a younger Bama secondary I think Mallet plays better and they pull it out.......if they can stop the run.
It is too early for any team to be leaning on stats. The season is only three weeks old. It's already been rumored out of the Bama camp that the gameplan is going to be a heavy dose of Ingram and Richardson to keep Mallet off the field. I don't know anything about Arkansas' run defense but if they can't stop the routine four and five yard gains by both Ingram and Richardson this game will be over very early. But if they can then watch out. Because Mallet will definitely test our secondary and it is very inexperienced.
Ar-Kansas has on their resume: Tennessee Tech, Louisiana Monroe, Georgia and their rushing attack is 98th in the nation. Any concerns?
