I really think Alabama is on the ropes. They are due for a loss and Arkansas is on fire.

I think Arkansas could win this one, but i am basing my whole theory on Nick Saban, the SEC West, Little Rock, and a big 6 foot 5 or so lanky quarterback from Arkansas. sound familiar Tiger fans?

Having the number one offence and defense in the SEC dose not mean much when 1) you have not faced a SEC opponent yet and 2) majority of those yards earned where from blowing out two cream puffs (Duke and San Jose State). Got to admit though, Bama's unseasoned D looked good against Penn, however Kent State held Penn to 24 points...so I not sure how much of a test that was.

Nevertheless, "on the ropes" were a poor choice of words. Primed for a upset is what I should of said. Arkansas is 3rd in the nation in passing. Going to be a big shoot out in Fayetteville IMO. Looking forward to watching this one. Should be a great SEC matchup.

Arkansas with the points is my lock of the week.

Mark Ingram and T Rich will rush for over 350 yards combined, and keep Mallett off the field, which means he is going to try and force throws, i don't know I think Arkansas gets exposed. I think they could beat them if Bama comes out and lays an egg, but I don't see it.

Someone sounds like their venting. I thought we were Oklahoma east? I hope you got the points.

I think it all depends on the Bama’s D. Penn held Bama to 24, and their D is very similar to Arkansas IMO. Their passing game on the other hand is nothing like Arkansas'. I’m already smelling the gun powder from this shoot out. Game is going to be close and will come down to the last drive.

Eh, I don't know about this one. It's difficult to gauge how good bama's D really is. However, I do expect them to trip-up at some point. Teams that start out this hot rarely, if ever, keep up the pace for the entire season. I actually prefer to get tested early. That way, you know what you need to work on, and the late-season close contests aren't as new to your team.

Realistically, LSU is on upset alert. It's only a 5 point spread(last I saw) so that means we are pretty much even on a neutral field.

I'd also think Miami could do down tonight @Pitt.
Notre Dame over Stanford wouldn't surprise me.

And maybe less likely but still maybe...Temple over Penn State.

I also didn't include SC @ Auburn. Both 3-0 and ranked 12 and 17, it seems like an even game.

Actually Nick Saban held Alabama to just 24 out of respect for JoePa. We could have scored 50 on them. The second half was nothing more than a series of playcalling to kill time and keep from disrespecting. I began flipping to the LSU Vandy game once I saw what was going on. It made me sick.

We are very ripe for an upset. Our secondary is inexperienced, talented, but still inexperienced. I hope we pound Ingram and Richardson and keep Mallet on the sidelines. That way when he is out there he'll feel like he has to make something happen and force things. Bu this game scares me to death.
