:geaux: I'd say Alabama with Florida a close second. We'll have to see if the Gator's can stay near the top with CUM gone. Auburn's #3 right up there next to UF and Old Piss is at #4. I'd put R-Kansas at #5, but they're movin' up fast. :LSU231:

It varies from person to person, I'd agree with this however I would put Ark ahead of Ole Miss.

We do . . . Tulane. It's just not a big game anymore. We have no shortage of big games.

I think Bama is #1 at the moment for me and I'd put Auburn #2 because of the crazy games with them over the past 25 yrs.

Florida has been huge and still may be #3 (for me) but could get passed up by Ole Miss and/or Arkansas if they drop into SEC East mediocrity. Since I started at LSU in '95, I've felt out program is "above" Ole Miss & Arkansas on a regular basis although it's not like we spank them every year like Miss St. I think LSU fans should place more emphasis on the Ole Miss & Ark games.

The Ark series has been especially thrilling and they don't have a natural rival either. If they continue to contend for the SEC West each year, I think that rivalry will continue to grow over time.

I agree with alot of these guys. Living in Alabama now, I have to say I look forward to the game with Tide more than any other, especially since Saban started coaching there. It makes no since to hate the tide so much - they went and got themselves a fine coach from the NFL, but one cant help but feel like he is a traitor. And I guarantee the tide fans have Nov 5th circled on there schedule. The only team they fell that really, truly beat them last year (outplayed and out-coached) was LSU. Every game with them is a war.

And for me, Ark is second. I cant stand that they have beat us the last 3 out of 4. At least we are back to even with the Miles-Saban / LSU-Ala showdown. Dang ... 2 plays last year cost us 14 pts...both mistakes by the same guy ... weve got them at home this year, though its an afternoon game.
