I thought Manny would get a baseball scholarship. North Carolina has a good baseball program but not as good as LSU's.

You can be a hater. If it's all you ever post about, its a troll signature. So hate on Les all you like, but someone is liable to get in your face about it, too. I don't think you'd know a good coach if one kicked you in the ass.

He is small for a QB. They have him listed at 6' but he is closer to 5'10 maybe 5'11". I thought he would end up at a La Tech or ULM. It will be interesting to see if he can compete next year once Williams is gone.

He is a better prospect as a pitcher than as a QB. His junior season at U High he pitched 2 no no's.

A couple of nights ago I heard an excerpt from an interview with Saban. Interviewer reminded him that he had only lost 6 games in 4 years. Saban replied, "That's 6 games too many."
I like that attitude in a coach.

If all Tiger fans were as idiotic as you I would be yelling Roll Tide with the best of them. Can I send you a houndstooth pistol so you can blow your head off before you somehow find a woman desperate enough to breed with you?

Just because you respect what Saban has done as a coach doesn't mean you are an Alabama fan. I admired what Pete Carroll did at USC, and I'm no Trojan. Respect their program, though. There's some really good coaches out there. I prefer Miles the human being over Saban in that area, and I think they each have their strengths and flaws as coaches, too. Nick's learned from a lot of his mistakes. Credit to him. Les has at times, too. He abandoned the co-DC deal. Gerry died on Tepper's headset due to blind loyalty.

Les would have 2 crystals had Bama not gotten a very fortunate rematch if you recall. Imagine if Ryan Perrilloux hadn't screwed up his life and was QBing that LSU team or a Lee hadn't been thrown to the wolves and permanently been scarred instead of JJ and that Lee. If we hadn't had to keep going to young QBs too early they are forced to earn their spot over time and may not develop the big ego too quickly and not realize their flaws.

In the end, LSU's not taken a step back like OU has steadily under Stoops after winning a title early. The SEC West is far more competitive than what Bob's had to traverse. This season should be fun. Hopefully Cam Cameron can really get the most out of Brandon Harris and Franks as a recruit looks glowing. We could be finally getting past the desolate vortex that has been the QB spot at LSU.

    Time shall tell.
