I was up in Dallas for the TCU game last year. I thought I'd go to Humperdinks for a meal, the place was packed, wall to wall, Tiger Fans. Walking through, I heard two girls yell out my name. It was EWE Mother-in-Law,her sister and the Brother-in-Law. Got an invite to sit and enjoy the evening with them. Nice family.

I expect that Landrieu and Cassady would end up in a runoff no matter whether Edwards runs or not. For him to be any help to Landrieu to get reelected EWE would have to finish no worse than 2nd in the primary so he could bring out the Dems for the general election

Now it looks like Edwards has a real shot at winning. He was the leading vote getter in the primary

He has no chance. The four guys that finished behind him are all republicans. Graves will win it comfortably.

I didn't think he had a chance to get into the runoff. Never count him out

There's a part of me that's secretly rooting for him just for the comedy that would ensue.

Last time something like that happened to me it was in a bar, it was 3 girls, and well. It was sort of like a train wreck, a really bad, ugly, bloody train wreck. I ran as fast as I could.

But his recognition was not from being profiled on America's Most Wanted.

I first encountered Edwards 50 years ago when he made a campaign stop in my hometown. My initial impression was that he was one slimey SOB. Doesn't look like anything has changed in 50 years.
