I'm seeing tickets on ebay at about $150. That sounds steep, and I'm convinced I can scalp for under $50. Anyone have insight on this? Seattle is a great town, been there many times.
Re: Who is going to Washington game? Thinking serious about going. I wanna take the Surf Rider up but I have not booked yet. Still unsure if we are gonna be in town that week.
Re: Who is going to Washington game? im seriously debating it ... though being in the military who knows what will be happening during that time frame
Re: Who is going to Washington game? I think I might go. I want to tailgate in a boat out there...is that easy to do as a visiting fan?
Re: Who is going to Washington game? http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/21229916/ About 250 boats have rights to a spot on the docks just outside the east entrance of Husky Stadium. Some make a weekend out of it, camping out overnight, then walking off their boats, over the wooden planks and into the stadium. Others anchor farther out in the lake and take a university-run shuttle boat to shore. The largest share of fans arriving by water come on of 10-15 boats chartered by various groups or companies. And it's Hassing's job to oversee the operation, when she's not busy working as a full-time real estate agent or caring for her two kids. "It's really hard to get the timing of the arrival of all the boats and the sizes and the boats keep getting bigger and bigger,'' Hassing said. "But the people work really well with us.'' http://sports.espn.go.com/travel/cities/index?city=seattle Charter a Boat for Husky football: With the University of Washington's football stadium standing along the shores of the Montlake Cut, many fans of the Dawgs travel by boat to games. Single-game moorage is available outside, where tailgaters can party prior to kickoff, and the mountain views from inside the stadium during the game are impossible to beat.
Re: Who is going to Washington game? Our group has booked a charter sailboat to bring us to the game. It should be pretty sweet. From my buddy that booked it: Mallory Todd - http://www.sailseattle.com/vessel.htm I have a Scooner lined up (Mallory Todd) to pick us up from the dock Saturday morning and take us on a cruise through Lake Union/ Lake Washington eventually taking us toward Husky Stadium. About an hour before kickoff we will take water taxi's to the dock and walk straight up to the stadium. I have also been looking at some catering options for the cruise to have something to eat. I will make sure the bar is properly provisioned. (being a morning tailgate, I was planning on Whiskey Drinks, Screw Drivers, Bloody Marys, and maybe Mimosas). I will also get an ice chest or two of beer.
Re: Who is going to Washington game? I have family in Olympia and been to Washington state several times, gorgeous country around Puget Sound. Depending on what happens with grad school and ticket prices, I plan on making the trip.
Re: Who is going to Washington game? Really want to go. I looked couple of weeks ago and it was anywhere between $300 and $500 per person for Flight and Hotel for three nights. Depends on the flight and hotel. It's a long ass flight too.
