Biggest season: Kelvin Sheppard. Plays in a linebacker-centric defense, has a new guy on each side of him, and new guys in front of him. He'll probably lead the SEC in tackles this year. Breakout season: Shep is the easy pick, and probably the smart one, but I'll say Mike Ford. Best running back at LSU since...Addai, I suppose. And I think our new RB coach will get him on the field early and often.
Im going to go with D'Angelo Peterson, this guy will be a nightmare for defenses in the SEC, because of the matchup problems he will create. If he can block better, he will be All SEC this year. He basically a wideout with the body of a tight end. 6'5 230 plus, with great hands and quick feet. I see Jefferson using the guy as a security blanket.
If these 3 have an unbelievable year a couple of things will have happened. JJ will have become the QB we need him to be, and the OL will have stepped up their game to protect him and open up holes for the run game. The outcome will be an O that is unbelievably dynamic and a nitemare for opposing DC's. A Tiger fan can only hope and dream. The closer we get the more excited I am at the possibilities.:LSU231: :geaux: LSU! :geauxtige
