JJ will start and I have heard Lee is not having the greatest practices that the staff comes to expect from him so far this year. But if JJ continues to have issues then I see Lee getting thrown in and possibly start at some point this year.
Do you think its too late Jefferson? Do you think he still has an opportunity to improve or atleast get back to where he was last season, just enough......just enough..... Do CLM & GC need to put the leash back on him, go back and play conservative football. Why cant Gonzo put a package together to help the passing game? I am just so damn frustrated! I dont understand! This is not at all directed at you bhelm
Sorry...but I can't see Miles putting Lee in except in a few scenerios...none good. 1) JJ gets hurt 2) JJ has such a suck butt game that he almost "has" to try something different. And he will hold on to JJ until Lee is practically "thrown under the bus." To play JL very much, much less start him, would be too close to Miles appearing to give in to pressure from the fans. Elmer might make some dumbass statements and even some stupid calls, but the man knows that if he continues to win at the percentage rate he is on now........he ain't going nowhere. Big bucks continue to roll in. (meaning his own income) Last year-Bama. This year-Bama again. Two years ago-Fla. Now Bama, Fla., Auburn, Arkansas, USC, are all good. Just win his fair share and pull off one or two toughies. An ugly win in the NCG is better than a pretty loss. Go on and buy out a guy with that winning percentage, whose team is consistantly in the top 25 (usually top 10) and see just how hard it would be to get a top coach to come to LSU. To me, that is why OM might as well keep the Nutt. We can make you a millionaire, true. Be wise and invest your money though. Chances are, you can basically end your headcoaching carreer here too. Hope you are not too proud to return to asst. coach.
I voted based on what I think is gonna happen - JJ What I would do, though, is start Lee. If he's doing well, he finishes the game. If he sucks azz, then two QB game alternating when it makes sense. I don't think that's what happens. I see JJ the entire game. I hope I'm surprised.
When the decision was made, it was the right decision. Shepard has never been a good passing QB. And LSU ain't West Virginia. It looks like a mistake in retrospect, but only because Garrett and Zach Lee aren't here anymore. When the decision was made, there was gridlock at the QB position.
You guys really think there will be a change at QB? Can you supply any proof that this will happen? History says it ain't happening.
