Brandon Lafell has quietly been the most consistent player on our team. Dude has erased his repetoire of drops and pushed himself up as one of the top WR's out there.

Lafell is awesome. He only had 5 receptions in 2006 (he was #4 behind three WRs taken in the NFL Draft -- Bowe, Davis, Doucet). In 2007, Lafell led our team in receiving yards (Doucet was injured for a good chunk of 2007). This year, Lafell again leads our team in receiving yards (903 -- next is Byrd with 489). At first, I remember Lafell dropping passes all over the place, and I rememeber wondering if that guy ever played WR before coming to LSU. But since then, he has won me over. Lafell is a beast.

Tolliver has been good too. But Lafell has been a hoss.

I agree that Lafell is a hoss. I think he is a great player. He did have a few disappointing drops but overall that kid has been amazing for LSU. If we chose him, there would be no argument from me.

My biggest problem with any choice is that one of the things you sawand heard about from Hester was heart and leadership. The team just did not have anyone that fit that bill for the entire year. I have no doubt that everyone played hard, but there was just something missing this year. There were moments where the leadership would appear but it just did not stick.

    Pretty impressive pics of Lafell.

The most impressive thing that I see in the collage, however, is the chick in the background at Auburn...daaaaaaamn!!!

OK, so work is 1) kicking my ass, and 2) difficult to post from. Let's just say that I lurk a lot. But I had to post as soon as I came home because there's not enough rep in the world for this comment.
