IRON HEADS Son is allready a beast, he appears to have just the natural ability and has had major playing time and impact as a freshman for the osu D line. he is really a humble kid but is motor is on a never ending high when he steps on the field. he is also pretty fast off the line but he is also from GA(southern speed).
Not to be a party pooper, but I don't like threads these. It's not like OSU is La Tech... if we come out with a loss, we'll feel pretty stupid that LSU lost to a team that wouldn't even start half their team (as some people would think). I do think that Laurinaitis is crazy good and Chris Wells is no slouch either, but I'll take our guys...
No one is really saying that less than half of the Ohio State players would or wouldn't start for LSU. They aren't competing against each other for spots so we can't know. What people seem to be predicting are the ones who would be clear cut starters. The above list seems fairly accurate for that. Add another 4-5 that would probably be right up there and I think it's fair to say that 1/2 or so of the starters for either team might be an upgrade for the other.
what? no Spurrier makes the Tiga upset? and also, I think Beanie Wells is better than Hester imo. I love Hester a ton, but I like Beanie a lot, too.
it's not "my guy is better because he wears purple & gold or scarlet & grey but who is decidedly better at their respective positions and why.
Okay... it's just that I'm hearing all over the place that OSU is slow and can't compete and will get blown out, ect... the same stuff we heard before the Kentucky game. The way LSU has let teams hang around this season keeps me from being overly optimistic. How many of our players would start on their team? :hihi:
Because he thinks that a guy who has yet to equal Lou Holtz's best year at South Carolina is still a great coach.
