My chickens make about 15 eggs a day so I have breakfast everyday I'm not in the office. Usually ham egg and cheese sandwiches or if we have them a bagel sandwich.
I got out of the chicken business about 2 months ago. Life is easier now. I just go buy yard eggs up the street from my house.
At who, everyone around me is sitting on hundreds of acres. But it is nice to have all the yard eggs I want. My coworker buys everything we dont eat. And my 15 y/o cleans the coup.
I just got tired of it. Had 22 birds. Way too damn many and they had become a PITA. Got rid of them, ripped out the guts of the coup and park bateaus under it now.
50 lb Sack of later pellets is about 15 and this time of year their eating more from land, ie bugs, grasses e.t.c. so their ejs are very tasty. if you have 20 birds you will get about 10 eggs a day. But one of the best advantages is if you let them free roam they do a wonderful job of keeping pest away from your place.
