nothing today yet, but i had to post somewhere that sunday morning you need to go to sammy's for brunch and get a who dat omelet.

it's the best thing i've eaten in a while (easy, guys).

it's got some kind of andouille cheese sauce inside of it with lump crabmeat.

they serve it with shrimp and grits which is the best shrimp and grits i've had in a long time. for good measure they throw andouille in that too.

they also serve the shrimp and grits as an entree too.

    it was fan-frickin-tastic.

I could never get myself up and moving early enough to go with y'all to brunch, but after reading that, I might just have to one Sunday...

Was SO excited last night when my teenager asked if I would cook her some scrambled eggs for breakfast. I've begged and begged them to try to eat something, knowing the importance of breakfast and also how studies have shown kids who eat breakfast do better in school.

Both daughters have slowly come around to at least a fruit bar or bowl of cereal but I love cooking breakfast so I was happy to do so.

Any of you have problems getting your kids to eat breakfast?

Girl in the office found a new breakfast place on her commute. She brought me a pork chop biscuit this morning. Mighty fine.
