During the work week, I do simple stuff...cereal, waffles, toast. On weekends, I do it up right. On Saturday's I am either doing blueberry muffins, pancakes and bacon, or buying beignets or something like that. Every Sunday, it's grits, scrambled eggs, and ham.
Congrats on losing 23 pounds.......that's an honorable commitment and you must feel better both physically and mentally. :thumb: Oatmeal is a healthy choice! You prolly know this but check it out: http://health.learninginfo.org/benefits-oatmeal.htm
the last few days, breakfast has been the same thing every day. a pear, some grapes, a bit of brie cheese, some blue cheese chunks, a croissant, and espresso. mmmmmmmm.....
This morning I was feeling sorry for myself because I'm just getting over the flu. So what did I eat? A Sausage McGriddle with cheese. It was AWESOME! Further proof that Mickey D's is the best when it comes to breakfast along with Shoney's, I-Hop and Waffle House.:thumb:
bowl of raisin nut bran cereal, 2 slices turkey bacon, 1 slice toast w/spray-on simulated butter, 1/2 glass of oj and coffee
I usually go with cereal during the week and fruit for a mid-morning snack because that's the only part of the day I know how to eat healthy. If I could eat what I wanted and not worry about health, I'd go with one of those McGriddles that someone mentioned, a Supersonic Breakfast Burrito from Sonic, my special lady at the Waffle House (scattered, smothered, covered, diced, etc), IHop (skillet or funnel cake thing), a Sunday brunch at a place that knows how to do it right (another Mimosa please), Eggs Benedict (or Florentine), and lots of bacon. Mmmmm, bacon.
I had a grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast today. I was out of cheerios and oatmeal both. it was pretty good actually.
