As long as you have used them, you know the mall has never taken them.

Doesn't Diet Coke actually make a person have more of a propensity to gain weight? Seems like I recently saw a study showing that.

I had a biscuit with a leaded Dr. Pepper from McDonalds.

    This is the study.

    http://www.webmd.com/diet/news/20050613/drink-more-diet-soda-gain-more-weight

Bottom line (no pun intended) is that other factors are more likely the indicator for obesity. People can treat the diet coke like a diet and give themselves permission to eat other stuff...........like biscuits.

That was an interesting read...but duh, are there really people that think drinking a Diet Coke is being on a diet?

I drink Diet Cokes, as opposed to regular ones for two reasons: 1) If I drank a regular Coke, that would be adding (what?) 120 calories a pop to my total for the day. Who needs that? and 2) I've been drinking Diet Cokes since I was 20, and the regular ones don't taste good to me anymore.

I guess so since that's what the study suggested. It could also be a way to give oneself permission to eat bad stuff. You know, I'm having a diet soda so I can have a big ole burger.

Ditto. A regular coke is just gross now.

Streeeeeeetch. But it MUST be true. :hihi:
