It was beautiful. Probably will really come into it's own in the next 10-20. However, I am more of a tawny fan and the colheitas were simply unreal. That 1935 was actually a white colheita. Only one other house has made one in over 100 years and this is the oldest by 50 years. Not allowed for sale in Europe but they allowed a whole case here in America. I sold five 375 mls today. Needless to say, they were quite....um......pricey. Pretty unique to get to drink something like that, much less for breakfast. And yep, there was a lot of red meat today...:thumb:
I am far from an enthusiest but 97 was a great year for even boones farm! Something bout the radical climate change. 97's continue to go up in cost.
I absolutely love breakfast, it's easily my favorite meal. If I'm cooking, then I'll brown some breakfast sausage (blue and gold) preferably (okie knows). mix in some onions and peppers and spuds. Get it all cooked down, then scramble in some eggs and wrap it in a tortilla with some salsa and it's $$. If I'm on the run, its a S/E/C Toaster from Sonic If I'm dining out, then it's usually something like a ham/cheese/tomato/mushroom omlete, or chkn fried stk and eggs or again (for Okie), Jimmys garbage is just awesome. Thats at Jimmy's Egg an OKC establishment.
love blue and gold! i havent eaten at a jimmy's egg in years. but i do have some blue and gold in the freezer i need to thaw and cook.
just goin to bed. and i dont drink alcohol so i dont have that reason. i did, however, have a couple of non-alcoholic beers.
eggs over med, roast beef hash, toast, coffee (I generally indulge myself like this on very cool days). On most, just coffee and the road.
