For a man of my age, bacon and eggs every morning is a heart attack on a plate. So it's cheerios, corn flakes, chex, and shredded wheat for me on weekdays. I'll make bacon and eggs on Saturdays sometimes and sausage bisquits on Sunday. Then its back to the cereal.

There used to be a breakfast-only place on highway 61 when the nuclear plant was under construction, but they closed up when their daily stream of construction workers dried up.

Their thing was "breakfast in a cup" and it was xtremely popular. It came in a big milkshake cup with a long spoon. There was crumbled bacon on top and you ate your way down through fried or scrambled eggs (your choice) and into butter and grits. It was great and you could eat it while driving without making a big mess. I wish someone around here made it.

Had boudin this a.m. and went drink coffee at McDonalds while waiting for my 12 yr. old to have braces put on. Coffee at McDonalds was terrible, maybe I'm just accustomed to Louisiana's #1 coffee......Community.

BTW, I'm no connoisseur in regards to coffee, I wonder what brand they serve anyway?

Have you people been skipping the most important meal of the day?? Practice good eating habits!

Coffee. Left over half of a chicken burger with fresh tomato, had it at my desk when I got in.

Eggo waffles, topped with some fried chicken tenders, topped with a lot of hot sauce, topped with a decent amount of syrup. Spectacular as usual.

  thanks for thinking ahead!

And wouldn't you know the wife wants to meet for lunch. I specifically had a big breakfast so I could have a late lunch and do some other stuff. I guess you'll need to eat some more tums for me.
